I've been asked numerous times where I came up with the MotoMania moniker. I started using that "handle" online soon after joining up with the MotoCentral gang on the ol' GEnie network back in the late 80s/very early 90s. Back when it a mouse still ran across the floor and you had a 80 character wide screen, 40 lines and usually GREEN text, dayglo greeen to be exact. I didn't realize at the time how many people in that group would have quite a significant impact into the world I enjoyed so much, motorcycling. There were some that were involved with broadcasting, future presidents . . . .

The Feather River Canyon Ride (10/30/2009)
One of my favorite sections of road is usually fairly invigorating to the visual senses this time of year. The dogwood and oaks are all turning colors as are the Aspen and other non-evergreens that line the banks of the Feather River as it winds it’s way to the Sacramento Valley. The stretch of highway betweeen Indian Valley and Jarbo Gap was one of my favorite stretches of road to ride.
